Today,

journalism and law students are merged together to have a tour to the Adelaide Court house for considering Double degree offer - Bachelor (Hons) Journalism and Law.

At the same time,

we are lead to the court for media class excursion,

it taught us how to write news in court as a journalist.

It explained to us the seating position of judges, jury, lawyer, prosecutors, accused, journalists/reporters and witness.

In a specific details,

it taught us about the procedures and rights between adult and children,

if children under 10 years old, the case are unexposed which is have to solve privately with a close door.

Besides than news reporting,

we also have mooting trial  at the end of the session.

Several students were chosen to become lawyers, witness, defendant, plaintiff, jury, judges, journalist and audience. I was selected as judge.

They provided costumes for us to wear to make it more lifelike. 

The most exciting and 'untung' is they printed a A3 size photo for everyone each of us for the mooting position we played as memento,

I got a judge role today hence got a photo with a judge costume :)

Even the photo is unique, but I keep laughing at my own!

Because I look too tomboy when the hat is put on ! Totally look hairless :D

LOL ! When I am holding my photo,

Somehow, I keep laughing myself is seriously ugly!

Jerry keep saying

'Bu Huiiii !!! Yours look professional, like PhD graduate! You look at mine! Haha! I also dont know how to describe!'

I said

'Haha! Yours is funny! Why everyone close up the coat, but you never? Look like sushi maker!'

When I said like that, I totally embarrass him,

classmates around keep teased him :X

After he take out his coat, I snapped a picture with him,

 Yang helped us took picture, after he took it,

he look at the picture, laughed loudly and said

'Hahahaha!!! One judge one Tong Ji Fan!'

when he said like that, all of us keep laughing non stop!

Then I said

'Haha! I want to post in Facebook now and write ME AND TONG JI FAN! Hehehe!'

Jerry laughed and said

'Wahhhhh dont want lehhh.... I still got 2 years in Adelaide how to survive??? Hahaha!'

I said

'I dont care... I want to write hahaha!'

He said

'Wah sai dont want lehhhh your facebook so many people, I very stressful lehh!'

I said

'Hahaha! Dont care! I want tag your name some more! Hehe!'

He said

'Wah Kang! Still want to tag my name? Really cannot! My reputation gone! Say me is Tong Ji Fan >.<'

I said

'Ok lo... let you choose, tong ji fan or qiang jian fan? haha!'

He said

'Bu Yao la... wah sai.... no face leh.... hahaha!'

I said

'No answer? Ok! Up to me! Jiu lai ge Tong Ji Fan bahhhh hahaha!'

When I was posting, I written in mandarin,

at that time, I asked him

'Tong Ji Fan Chinese how to write? Hehe paiseh....'

He said

'Dont teach you! Haha!'

I said

'Dont care I still want to write!'

After a couple of seconds, 

he peeped my phone and he even laughed and said

'Wah Kang! You dont know chinese still use English to spell ! write me Tong Ji Fan! Speechless! Hahaha!'

I said

'I tagged to you dyyy hahaha!!!'

Just now,

when papa phoned me, he asked me where I am?

I told him I just went to court for excursion,

I said

'We went to court for media course, inside people teach us take us a tour in the court, show us the facilities, court room and everything and tell us court process all those, at the end got mooting trial.Then they got provided costumes for us, Jerry and me are judges, at the end, they got free photo for us, then Jerry never wear properly, the coat never close up, look like sushi maker! Hahaha I from just now laughed until now....'

Papa said

'Go court public place cannot Da Da Sheng ones ah....'

I said

'Can ahhhh.... I from the beginning till the end also Da Da Sheng also nobody scold me...'

Papa said

'Mmmm....'

I said

'Mmmmm very good, still got free photo! A lot of fun! Next semester I got a subject is media reporting, then the lecturer will always bring us here during practical class. And now I am first year last semester mah, this June I will go into second year, so they bring us to court and recommend us their double degree program for Law and Journalism. The most fun is can playyy, here lecturer very good, what class bring us where, always go excursion, last time we went museum or state library, this time go court.'

Papa said

'Wahhh good oh... still got like that ones...'

I said

'Anah! Unlike Malaysia, always stay in the lecture hall only, here Australia run here run there, more practical ones... today still got mooting trial, and we go court very big lehhh.... Yang keep saying thats his house hahaha!'

Papa said

'Mmmm....'

I said

'Haha! Then when the person brought us to the basement, basement is like a maze because too many cells d ... we get lose when walking up... then I said: Eh Jerry! Your house how to walk back? Hahaha! Then Jerry said : Actually my house too big already till I felt unfamiliar d... hahaha walk slowly bahhh.... and he keep saying the court is his house, then when the person introducing courtroom to us, he keep saying : Mmmm this is my house study room, this is toilet, this is balcony.... every room that the person show us also he must say something hahah!'

Now,

I am really enjoy the course that I having now regarding the past.

In spite of transferred from the very pure science to a very pure art,

but I still found the happiness within it.

Perhaps, its environment factor?

It made me calm down a lot and happier a lot.

This June,

I gonna step into Bachelor of Journalism for my second year :)

Perhaps, focusing too much on tiny texts; both online course readings and textbook books plus burning too much midnight oil on writing excessive essays and case studies for every each of the subjects, 

I started to developed short-sighted after 8 months of staying in Australia :(

In our degree second year,

we gonna choose our sub-major stream either in law or psychology stream,

Either Journalism in law or Journalism in psychology,

but I avoid both of these,

when I was looking at the sub-major list,

I suddenly get excited and said

'Wahh! Got Chemistry! I want choose chemistry as submajor!'

Jerry even laughed at me and said

'Cannot! Journalism you cannot choose chemistry as submajor, you must look at the credit hours. You see this chemistry, too many subjects, you cant complete within two years. You can only look at the law or psychology submajors only.'

I said

'What is the difference between law and psychology submajors?'

He said

'Depends next time what you want to do, if you want to write news or do TV news broadcasting, then you have to take law subjects as submajors, because you have to know which penal codes all those and have to know what the crime offended... if you prefer to write articles in magazine or newspaper then you have to take psychology.'

I said

'Dont want lehhh both of also very difficult. I want Chemistry, I very good in chemistry.'

He even laughed very loud and said

'Wah kang! I first time heard media student want to take chemistry as submajors hahaha! You are the first one. No you understand what I am talking about or not? You cant choose chemistry because the subjects too many, you have to extend one or two years more. You only can choose either law stream or psychology stream as your submajor because your credit hours. You have to choose two level 1, two level 2 and two level 3.'

I said

'Ok then law stream or psychology stream is much more easier?'

He said

'Depends on you, your science or art which is better?'

I said

'I dont know... both are the same. I like science, but I dont like memorize things like psychology. Those cracking head bio theories.'

He said

'Yea! That is why most people take law, because law is easier, you see this psychology submajors subject, neuroscience, clinical psychology, what biological psychology, those very difficult ones... Now Yang second year d... he taking psychology stream, he said very hard... plus the lecturer very strict, they give low marks ones....'

I said

'Yea but law also very hard... you see this level 3 one, taxation law and corporation law, my friend Emily study law ones, she told me these two very difficult ones...'

He said

'Yea... a lot people also said these two subjects very difficult, but you see... the level 1 and level 2 ones... level 1 got introduction to law, employment law, criminology, partnership law and level 2  got literacy, commercial law, issues in criminal justice, international relation and public relation all these are much easier ones... only taxation and corporation law is difficult... rather than you take psychology from level 1 till level 3 all also so difficult! Hahahaha!'

I said

'Also true! Now first year I got psychology as compulsory subject, walao! The only subject I from  distinction drop till credit because of the final exam! The rest all distinctions besides than psychology only!'

He laughed and said

'Hahaha now only you know how hard was it?? That is why most people go into law stream ones... because only final year difficult... Dont become the second Yang... regret also useless d.... And dont forget now you first year only already so difficult, what to say second year and third year?? Not human study ones.... hahaha!'

I said

'Oh then minor leh? Minor I can take chemistry?'

He laughed very loud and said

'Wah Kang! Until when d you still chemistry chemistry chemistry! Haha of course you can take chemistry for minor! Minor you can randomly choose! But normally people wont choose Chemistry, because Chemistry too difficult d... normally minor people choose relaxing subject like Japanese language or Korean, French all those... first time heard people minor want to choose chemistry hahaha! The minor you choose is even harder than your major! Hahahaha! You look you look! You look at the subjects of Chemistry submajor, all biochemistry, nanochemistry, chemical research methods, research application, molecules-to-materials... Hahaha! Will crazy ones!'

I said

'Or minor can take music ones or not? Here got music!'

He said

'Can... but normally people who know music only will take music, if not very hard ones... because their practical exam ask you play one piano song grade 8 ones.... I heard they said music final exam 1500 notes.... Hahahaha!'

I said

'1500 notes ah? No problem! I play very fast ones... awhile play finish d haha!'

He said

'You know piano?'

I said

'Know la! Think I dont know ah? Mai Siao Siao! Grade 6 certificate from ABRSM lehhhh..... hahaha!'

He said

'Hahaha! You take music better than take what that Chemistry as minor!'

I said

'Hahaha! Ya la ! I very liked science ones... I like add math, physics all those ones...'

The most funny, he even said

'Wah Kang! Your interest transformation is still quite big! 360 degree change! Can study from engineering to journalism, and from journalism back to Chemistry! Not bad not bad ! Hahaha!'

After he said this,

I really pondered why I could because of the previous add math incident,

 from a very pure science student transformed to a very pure art student and started doubting my talent!!!
