news article, and EXPLAIN in NO less than 200 words
and no more than 250 words, how
it relates to the ideas about globalisation expressed in the documentary, Manufactured
Landscapes, which was shown in the lecture for the weekly topic
"Going Global."
The meaning of ‘globalization’
is a series of procedures and impacts arouse by the environments. Tomlinson
(n.d) claimed that the aftermaths of the globalization are not unified
everywhere in the world. Doreen Massey (n.d) adding words that there is a ‘power
geometry’ of globalization in which everyone has different motives such as some
people have more sense of accountability; while some do not. ‘Multiphase’ is
defined by Albrow (1990), he states that ‘Multiphase’ refers to all
globalization procedures by which everyone are amalgamate into one piece of
global society.
In many ways,
globalization contributed to multiphase such as in localization, planted Creole
culture, Hybridization and cross-cultural. For an instance, globalization in US
had paid tax refunds to India for 25,000 US dollar and America had showed a majority
of the excellent students are children of the latest immigrants.
In the procedures,
Globalization plays an important role in social and the workloads to serve as
global scale. The workloads refer to in terms of technological or compositional.
Ulrich Beck (2006) discovered that
“accordingly, the state can no longer be seen
as a pre-given political unit” (Ulrich Beck, 2006, p. 51).
To shape
globalization, social activities establish global actions and institutions to lead
a world justice. For example, constitute a social action to flatly speak out of
economy issues and culture impacts of globalization. Necessarily, people have
to do that for the sake of globalization as creating a political system is critical
for the accomplishment of global development.
