Surprise

Today,
we had our first year year end ceremony at City east campus.

The City East campus is so called 'Alma mater' for me now.
I was so happily shocked but really surprised.
It's so unpredictably,
I got 'International student Merit achiever' in my course!

Ain't kidding!
Although shopping composed most of my life in Australia but I am still got the International student Merit achiever during the first year graduation.

Unpredictable right?
I am so excited that I am the only one who got Merit Achiever in my course!!!
I told Hung Kiat about that,
he told me
'Is like that ones what... normally academic reward only give to one only, because they want to encourage students work harder, so they only give to the number one top student only.'

Frankly speaking,
before I attend the ceremony,
I really don't know I get the award of Merit Achiever until my name is called on to the stage.
My course has 9 graduates, and I just realized I am the top student among them :)

When my name is called on to the stage,
I wondered is that my name?
Because he called me 'Huay'.
LOL ! How I know who is 'Hui'??

I don't used to people call me 'Huay', so I don't response to this name,
I just assumed is other people's name until he called me the second time,'Huay Ngoh',
only I ran up the stage.
Because in Australia, they call the first name follow by the family name.
So my name here is 'Huay Ching, Ngoh'
Thereby,
he called me Huay Ngoh! LOL !

Anyway,
I am so happy to get the International student Merit Achiever despite I don't earn a single cent.
Vividly recalled,
last time when daddy asked me about my friend's results and me,
after I told him the results 'statistic',
I remembered he asked me the question
'Still got who better than you?'
I said
'I dont know, so far I just knew all these, maybe got people higher than me but I dont know. '
But who knows,
today's announcement made me realized I am the top one indeed.
Nobody else.
I am proud of 'hyperactive-ian' right now!

Perhaps, as saying goes,
Insanity raised IQ level?

After the ceremony end,
there were super delicious foods awaiting us.
Oh gosh!
It just a free ceremony-end dinner, but I felt like it's like 5 star hotel fine dining dinner!

They treat us crispy salmon bread and red wine.
Unlike MMU,
the unforgettable mee-goreng which almost made my throat suffocated !
It's indeed terrible, horrible and vegetable yet memorable but unforgettable !
