Matured

Eventually,

I had stepped into the age of maturation.

I mean, ultimately,

I been mentally matured so much after independently survived in Australia after these 8 months.

Somehow,

I don't really know whether it's good to be matured or not?

Because I been stepped into an age of realistic :X

My thinking has entirely undergo an extremely matured age after I came Australia study.

I don't really know whether it's good or bad?

Theoretically, based on moral values,

we learned that it wasn't good.

But practically,

everyone practice that way :X
At the time people looked you up and down, 

it define your future reputation.

Before I came abroad, 

people around me used to describe me I am a person who behave obliging and low profile regardless of status.

At that time,

people tend to think I am the innocent one who could mix anyone regardless of family background.

But now,

I had a sense of 360 degree 'opinion' transformation within myself.

Somehow,

I felt like I changed realistically despite nobody telling me that I am.

I don't really know whether it's a good thing or not good?

Because I tightly remembered Datin told me people tend to climb upward but not looking down.

I asked my darling whether it's good or bad?

He told me

'There is no good or bad, regardless of rich or poor, everyone in the world are realistic, its normal.'

I asked him

'You think why I would suddenly changed realistic? Keep thinking branded all those?'

He said

'Aiya, branded... who dont want branded? If got money, everyone also want lahhh....'

I said

'Also true, but you think why would I change realistic after I came Australia?'

He said

'Mostly grew up already.'

I said

'Grew up will changed realistic one?'

He said

'Will lah. Thinking changed already mah. You see when a kid is small, she wants teddy bear or barbie bag, but when the kid reach 13, you see she wants LV bag or barbie bag? The explanation is like this. Because when one person grew, she began to develop dignity, image and reputation. So will started become realistic.'

I said

'Then mostly what age people become realistic?'

He said

'Girl mostly grew faster than boy, girls mostly secondary school.'

I said

'Heyyy... got a bit true also... last time when I still learning ballet, my ballet classmates got a few are standard 6 like that. All of them very realistic one. Last time when they still dont know I am anak Datuk, they never talk to me, after they knew I am anak Datuk, everyone stick to me.'

He said

'All those standard 6 one also like that?'

I said

'Got 2 standard 6 one, 1 MMU one, then the rest are IJC one. All of them also got realistic, but the most realistic one are that both standard 6 one.'

He said

'Anah! Everyone also realistic one.'

I said

'But they so young they knew realistic meh?'

He said

'Standard 6 mostly knew that kind of things already. For girls are quite big already.'

I said

'How they knew realistic one?'

He said

'Mostly people who realistic came from rich family one, their parents always talk money stuffs to them then they became like expensive things and mix rich people lo.'

'The most not realistic one is that MMU girl. Her name is call Abby.'

He said

'Maybe not rich one lo.. so no realistic.'

I said

'Maybe also, she learned awhile never learn dy, she told me in MMU said very expensive. She said 1 hour 30 minutes per week only then one month RM230.'

He said

'Anah, mostly people who not rich never learn ballet one, because ballet mostly expensive.'

I said

'But one month RM 230 only, where got expensive?'

He said

'Aiya, like if you one month earn 10K, of course you think not expensive, but if you one month only earn 2K, sure think expensive lah.'

I said

'But after deduct that RM230 still got RM1770?'

He said

'But that RM 230 can go buy other things mah....'

I said

'Haha you said the same things as my mum also, last time I go do nail art, then after that, my mum brought me go food court eat, then that Kopitiam sell me auntie ask my mum how much I do for that nail polish? Then my mum said RM 140 for both hands and legs. Then that Auntie was like very fussing like that, she Har one sound very loud! Then keep ask people come and look my nail, she said nails of RM 140. Funny! My mum and me keep laughing. Then after that, I told my mum, Heiye! Just now that auntie Da Jing Xiao Guai... RM140 for both toes and fingers leh.... go where get so cheap price? Melaka Raya at least Rm 200 know? Then my mum said for those people work in Kopitiam they dont want waste money on nails art. Then I said but let say they earn RM3000 per month, just $140 of that Rm3000. Then my mum said that $140 they can go and buy other things like Chinese new year biscuit all those.'

He said

'Haha! Why your mum would suddenly think of chinese new year biscuit?'

I said

'Because that time when I came back from Australia is around CNY mah... so she think of CNY... she said those people will think $140 very expensive because they think waste money.'

He said

'Anah! Nail art all these things must be very rich only people afford and willing to do it. You see those cuci pingan or wash toilet one where got go do all these one?'

I said

'Then now I keep thinking money is every important. Got money want go saloon do hair, do nail polish, or go eat whatever best food also can then I start to become very realistic.'

He said

'Anah! Got money everything also can. That is why everyone in the world are realistic, all want better life mah... so everyone normally trying to stick with rich people.'

I said

'Then you think my parents got realistic?'

He said

'More or less at least got lah, because businessman sure have to connect with high class people only they can earn more money, find people for investment all those mah.'

I said

'Haha! Also true, let say you see my dad go out having lunch or what also go with those lawyers, developers, engineers, architects or big shot one. I never seen before he go eat with mama store owner. Funny!'

He said

'Anah! Go out with mama store owner for what? no money to invest also.'

I said

'So, from now onward, in order to success, you must learn all these also. Be smart. Try to connect with those people who will invest in your business, is good to your future. I mean not say you cant mix with poor people, but not like daily interactions.'

He said

'Haha! I from early early already knew lo... you never see got any tailor association or meeting, my dad all asked me go ah?'

I said

'And next time when we get married, our wedding must invite all big shot know? All your dad business partners and my dad business partners. So when they knew you on wedding, they will come your shop and invest you, then you can earn more money.'

'Your dad customers normally rich or poor one?'

He said

'Rich or poor also got, but mostly rich.'

'Normally what they doing?'

He said

'Them ah? Mostly are lawyers, because they need to make coats... some are doctors... some are business man... some are engineers make their lab coats lo... some are accountants lo.... some are get married one.'

I said

'Why those lawyers still need to make coats? Lawyers not wearing black coats? Why they want tailor made instead of straight buy the standard S, M, L one?'

He said

'Those lawyers ah? Rich or not rich also got lah... they want tailor made because like they go court they want give people good impression mah, so they all wear nicely, all tailor made fashion fashion go court lo... then people trust them only will hire them mah...'

I said

'Got people order like how I wear in the facebook photo one?'

He said

'No... dont know why those lawyers just order normal coats only. I think you wear one is judge wear one.'

I said

'You dont have judge customer?'

He said

'Got... Duhhh.... that malay guy that I told you is bad one. That Samsiah.'

I said

'You not say he is lawyer?'

He said

'Ya la. Because my father knew him long time ago already, so when my father knew him, he is still a lawyer, until recently just naik pangkat become judge.'

I said

'Then he got order gown like that from you or not?'

He said

'No... those judges also order normal coats only, so far still dont have people order like what you wear in the picture. Haha! Maybe court already provide so they never order.'

I said

'Then that Samsiah rich or not?'

He said

'Rich lahhh... 4 cars leh.... some more I heard my father said like normally rich people got own personal lawyer, but he got own personal judge one.'

'Wah then like that not everything he correct? Haha! Because judge is already his.'

He said

'But he is not boss, how come he can earn so much one?'

'Because bad people lawyers not many, so got any bad people want go court, people go find him lo... plus I heard my father said he very famous in the eyes of bad people, most bad people got cases all give him one.'

'Then those doctors leh? Their coats tailor made one?'

He said

'Ya la, because doctors and surgeon suits very hard to find mah... only tailoring can make it only, so they come lo...'

'Then those engineers? Not wear T shirt go work one? Why still have to tailor made?'

He said

'No la... their engineer suit are special one, their pocket is bigger one and on top have a line to hang pen one.'

'Those engineers wear what colour one?'

He said

'Those engineers ah? Depends what engineers they are, like construction one they wear yellow, factory one wear blue or green, lab engineer wear white lo.'

I said

'Haha! Got engineers wear red or not?'

He said

'So far still no. We havent meet before got any engineer wear red one. Haha!'

I said

'I go Tee Syi Rui father factory, the engineers inside wear blue one.'

He said

'Anah, we mostly do blue or green and white. Sometimes yellow, got make orange one before. But Red still dont have.'

I said

'Grey leh?'

He said

'Ah grey also got. Electric engineer.'

I said

'Then hows about others who come and do coats? What some more work?'

He said

'Magicians lo... that one earn the most one. 13 pockets.

Anyway,

I just felt like I am getting really realistic after I stepped into the Aussie land.

My darling claimed that I got both family and peers influenced.





He said because my mum and all my sisters using LV and Coach bags,
left me using none brand, so I will try to seek one to satisfied myself.

And he said my friends here all very rich,
Chin Yean, Jia Xin, Jia Ling, Jia Qi and Chloe all of them using Michael kors, LV and Coach bags,
So I got peer influenced from them and would naturally follow them up unconsciously and get some Furla and Longchamp.

I asked Carol
'Do you think after I came Australia, I became realistic already? Because before I came Australia, I wont seek for branded one.'
She said
'Haha! I also got realized. Because when you first came Australia, you never use branded one, you just use laptop bag and now got Longchamp and started pursuing Ted Baker already.'


I said
'Do you think like that not good?'
She said
'Wont ah... very normal, in Hong Kong everyone using in workplace.'
I said
'You mean Hong Kong people very realistic?'
She said
'Dui ya. Asian mostly like that ones. Rich people use branded very normal okay? Unless you are poor, you cant afford it but still want to use.'
I said
'Do you think realistic is good or no good?'
She said
'Neither good or bad, because you are rich, you can buy whatever you liked.'
I said
'But do you think people will think me realistic, all wear branded?'
She said
'Haiyo, you dont go and care how those poor people thinking of you, they cant get it, they jealous of you, of course will grumbled at the back lahhh... If you liked, you just get one. Very normal only okay? Because for rich people, those LV or Coach price not really how much, it just rich people used it just because of fashion trend. Thats it, just because poor people wanted to be materialistic and when their financial situation make them cant be, they will start embrace jealousy.'

I said
'Also true. But I dont like LV or Coach, because it make me look old, but I liked Ted Baker, look young and cheaper.'
She said
'Ted Baker already very expensive!!!'

I asked Carol why would I turned realistic?
She answered the almost same thing as Hung Kiat,

'Very normal ah... Rich people are like that one. If rich people not realistic then not call rich people already.'

'But dont you think realistic is not good one?'
She said
'No ah... for rich people, realistic is very normal, because they need to use it in business intercourse. It just like when a person wearing Tee and jeans and another person wearing formal suit, who you will trust first?'
I said
'Person who wearing formal?'
She asked
'Why?'

'Because look more proper and trust?'
She said
'Dui ya. But unless you are poor, you dont have money you still want to buy. That is not a correct thing, but if you got money, what thing wrong? It give others a better impression towards you. So its not about realistic. Its about the importance of networks interpersonal .'

She said
'My father my mum my uncle all told me like this ah...'

'Ohhhh hahaha. I just realized after I mix you, I got more wisdom. You told and taught me a lot of things in future.'
She said
'Hahaha! Thats how my parents told me, they told me impression is really important in business because wearing involved in networks interpersonal.'

'Ya, my boyfriend also said so. He said he got many lawyers customers like to make suits and tie, all ordered expensive-expensive one. He said because wear smart go court, then people will trust them and hire them because them give people good impression.'
She said
'Ya, so branded is not about negative. Actually, its good one. Men wear formal suits, wear coats and tie to give people a good impression, but women impossible what... so women use branded bags and accessories to arise their status.'

After Carol said like this,
I realized actually branded wasn't bad,
it still has a lot beneficial side as well :)


Anyway,
I will still continue pursue my Ted Baker series as loving branded wasn't false at all :D

Maybe it's realistic in the eyes of poor,
but it's good impression in the eyes of proper people.

That is why daddy often tell us wearing is importance.

He told me that is why whenever he go office have to wear smart, wear proper attire so the workers will respect him and look upon him.

He said
'Imagine if a boss, hair never comb, messy clothing, dirty dirty go office. Later people see already what will people think? Dont know how this people run business one? Hair never comb, clothes lao ya lao ya... How dare people come to your office and make business with you?'
I said
'Pa... Hung Kiats father also told Hung Kiat like that, he said dont wear Jeans and slipper when working, he said wear smart and let those customers see their clothes are fashionable only those customers will buy.'
